Eleanor, "Yes you can dial from the keyboard, however you cannot then input an extension from the keyboard!!!" Um... Yes you can input extensions just like when you dial a number. I've done it on the E63, E71, and E73 Mode without problems. Maybe your steps differs from mine?
1:: Go to your home screen. 2. start dialing using the normal dialing keys. r-u, f-j, and v-m for the numbers including zero, pound and star. 3: Press the Send key to send. 4: When you want to dial an extension, use those same keys. You do not need to press the Function key whatsoever.
