hello
i am using the mobile version on my phone and the normail version on my pc.
i have not done anything to modify either the desktop or mobile version of facebook. what exactly is it you want to do on the mobile version that is causing you problems? i find that the the user interface is basically the same in both versions, but there is differences in the mobile version that makes life easier. for example: finding friends that are already in your contacts, to me is much simpler on the mobile site. the feature to add and remove people from text alerts is so much easier in the mobile version. these are only two examples that i have found, but in my opinion the current version of talks on my nokia e7 works very well with mobile facebook.
kind regards.

Hello Stephen,

I'm also a user of FaceBook. But I find the mobile version very, very
limited with information on my Nokia N82 mobile phone.

How do you make it to work even much better on your mobile phone than on
the PC?

Thanks for any information.

Regards, smart

hello list.
for this is worth i will give my experiences of talks.
i have the nokia e7, with all current updates, and find that talks works
really well with it.
i have no problems navigating round the screens, options, menus etc. i also
do not have any problems with the internet and find that everything
is totally accessible.
i am a heavy user of facebook and to be honest i find that the mobile
facebook site works well on my phone, in fact probably better than the
desktop version for my pc.
i admit i do not use the mail functions with my phone, but i understand that

people are having some major problems.
any problems i have had with talks and my nokia e7, i have either had people

on this list help me out, asked for sighted assistance or just worked it out

myself.
if anyone requires any information on this particular phone setup: nokia e7
and the latest version of talks then please ask away.
kind regards.

Yes if you purchased an up to date mobile and installed the latest
talks
email is not very good, symbol list is not accessible nore is internet
nore is the help system. I'm not saying this is the fault of nuance. In
previous years this did not happen where as this year it's the third time
that phone updates and talks have not been compatible. Talks used to be
streets ahead of the competition, right now I put mobilespeak slightly
ahead as it's support of maps is better than talks while as far as I know
the browser, email and symbol list have the same issues with both screen
readers.

I dont think we will here from nuance we will have to wait until
whenever another update is released. I am getting concerned as well.
the Other screen reader is making great strides it seems we are
seeing les and les updates for more program accessability as well as
bug fixes to programs that dont fully work but remember none of us
know what's planned for future

releases other then nuance.
this is just my opinion.

Hi all:

Really am speaking frankly am so afraid about the talks future,
nokia produced many updates that talks can't cover, and some
applications r not working in
Newer handsets.
Does anyone from the nuance company is here to tell us the future?
Really
I
think we all must be worry because without talks we will go back more
than
10 years.
