Hello, the key has 2 function, one is end call, the other is power button.
when you are at the home screen, when you press this button once, it brings
some options like switch off, lock keypad, general etc. if you press this
button when you are in a menu or program, it takes you to home screen. You
can also switch off the phone by pressing and holding this button wherever
you are.

the power button went you are outside of the standby screen.

work as a call key. for instance, in dialed numbers, when i press talks plus
end key, it does not call a number. I have tried this since i have read
about this function on symbian3.

On the E63! Is the End-call button used to turn off and on the phone as
well? If it is, then this is a function of Talks and no bug. Talks followed
by power is like the pressing of the call key. So pressing Talks end-call on
the E63 could be like pressing the call button.

Hi all, I am using nokia e63 with the latest talks5.23. On the home
screen, when i press talks key plus end call key, this key is also switch
on/off key on this phone, the dialed numbers are opened. i tried pressing
this key combination in other applications or menu, nothing happens. but
when i was on the home screen, pressing talks key plus end call key takes
me to the dialed numbers. Is this normal or a bug on talks?
