Maurice, you maybe able to use the slide out keyboard to key-in numbers while in a phone call, but be careful because talks is muted unlike in buttons phones.

Hi Alan. Firstly, rather than being the most annoying person on the list you appear one of the most knowledgeable and all the information you have given me has been invaluable. So, Thank you very much for all the time you take to answer questions. It's very much appreciated. Your answer to this question is however a little worrying for me. I do phone my bank and building society regularly and sometimes whilst travelling. I am a little concerned to here that using either my N8 or E7 I will have difficulty inputting long security numbers. Am I to assume that I could do this more accurately using the Qwerty keyboard on the E7. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: talks-boun...@talksusers.com [mailto:talks-boun...@talksusers.com] On Behalf Of Allan Sent: 11 May 2011 10:37 To: Talks Mailing List Subject: Re: [Talks] Inputting numbers whilst on a call using a touchscreenphone. Maurice, it's me again, the most annoying person on the list. hope i can answer to your question this time. unfortunately this is the limitation for the current release of talks "5.2". you are not able to have talks speaks while you are on a call. but however, you still can bring out the virtual numbering keypad while you in a call by tapping your finger at the key2 area. when the virtual keypad is open, you can try to guess the numbering location and tap your finger at that location. this is what i am doing and i hope you can understand to my explaination. -- Cheers, Allan (WKF) "Life is impermanent, happiness is not a necessity, a person must cherish the people around them." ----- Original Message ----- From: "Maurice Press" <mauricepr...@enterprise.net> To: "'Talks Mailing List'" <talks@talksusers.com> Sent: Wednesday, May 11, 2011 17:16 Subject: [Talks] Inputting numbers whilst on a call using a touch screenphone. Hi all, I wonder if anyone could give me a tip here. When I phone either my bank or building society, I'm asked to input numbers and/or letters in order to pass security or go to a specific option. This is fine using a keypad but, how do I do this on a touch screen phone say like the N8 or E7. For security I don't want to have the phone on loud speaker. So, is there a way of having the touch keyboard working with Talks whilst on a call of this nature and if so, where do you touch the screen please. Thanks.
