There is nothing stopping you from putting on other Eloquence TTS stuff likeUK (ENG) as a example! Then you will have both ENU and ENG. This give youtwo TTS drivers. If you know other languages you can install them as well.So it has nothing to do with me having more then one voice beings you caninstall what you like for the license that you have. If you have Eloquence!Then you can install all the Eloquences if you like one after another. Thenthey will show up in the Speech selection.

If a problem isn't recreatable it for the most part unfixable! You have tobe able to recreate a problem in most cases to find out what is going onbefore it can be fixed.

Like I said, wants in a while Eloquence will stop talking for me! But mostof the time, I can switch to another TTS with the Talks long Clear and thenarrowing up 1 time to UK Eloquence and pressing Select to get speech back.Then I can redo the command and then arrow back to US Eloquence and keepreading. But this means you have to have both UK and US English EloquenceTTS installed before this will work. If you do not ahve any other TTS but USEloquence installed! Then when you do a Talks long Clear wait 3 seconds andthen do a Talks clear to reload the US Eloquence will also work. Note inthis case there are two command being issues. The first on is a long pressof the clear and the 2nd one is a short press of it. Both require the Talkskey to be pressed first.

Well doc, some of us don't have multiple speech engines. Ever since I'vehad

talks premium, I've never been able to use anything but the eloquence

engine, or nokia tts. I may have missed the instructions of which youjustspoke. Can you please repeat them? Seems a bit much when you've reachedyour

In most cases when Talks stops talking, it is still running. If you 1.

Switch to another tts speech will come back. Or 2. Unload the tts andreload

the tts, again speech comes back.

I've seen this with all version of Talks. One of the above ways in most

cases will get the phone talking again. Instructions were sent out onwhat

to do earlyer this week on both of the above. As far as i know no one has
tried them to see if they work in there case.

I think, that this is not the firmware' problem, rather, it is talks
problem. Cause if it was a phone problem, then the phone would have

restarted, etc. Other thing, is that not only me, some other friends onthis

mailing list r also facing the same issue, dispite of having a different
phone. It did not occur with talks5.1 can u mention what is ur firmware's
release date, cause as per what i know, last it was released was on
july2010.

The firmware on my C5 is 061.005. I updated my phone on the first march
2011, so you may need to try updating your firmware.

Talks? Yes I know the version number didn't change between the 5.01.x

release of Talks but the date on the file is different that is why Iasked

if you installed the Eloquence-ENU* version that came with 5.20.3 of
Talks.

Also what firmware do you have on your N86 and C5 that are havingissues?

This is done from the standby screen and doing a *#0000#.

Talks first of all.

Next! What TTS are you using?
What version is the TTS that you are using?

Did you try doing a Talks followed by a long press of the Clear key to
either unload the current TTS or to bring up the TTS list if you have
more

then one installed. Then you can either do a Talks followed by a pressofclear to reload the current TTS or you can arrow to another TTS andpress

select if more then one is installed.

Personally myself, I would try another TTS and see if the problem
continues.
Sound like the tts that you are using is crashing.

i'm facing a strange problem in my nokia c5-00. Whenever i startreadinganything using say all command talks+down arrow, it hangsautomatically.This did not occur in 5.1 version of talks. Then i have to againenable

talks using mobilespeak.
Is anybody facing the same problem in c5, or any other phones?
I've turned off the keypad tones. Please reply, if u have any
suggestions.
