Hi Eleanor
Well I only have the one phone that I use here in france, I
have the other nokia 6600 but that just has my english sim
card in it so I can keep an eye on my messages etc. we are
getting wifi soon, I don't quite know how it will work but I
am hoping that I will be able to connect the c5 to it in
some way. Wait and see.
Regards
Adrien

How can the access points work Adrian for Wi-Fi? I can use
Internet on my
C5 as I have a contract with Internet access. Cannot use
C5 at home though
on my Broadband as there is no Wi-Fi. Again I can use in
the house but via
the Contract. C5 is a good phone but relatively
inexpensive. All my other
handsets are or were more expensive and all have wi-fi so
work great on my
broadband.

Hi Eleanor
That's interesting, in the near future I hope to be
getting
wifi, does this mean that I will be able to connect my
nokia
c5 to the router using an access point? Is this how it
works? Do I need any other equipment? Perhaps you can
explain it to me or someone else can. I know the c5 isn't
wireless equipped but the access points should work.
Regards
Adrien

Yes. it is called setting an access point and is done via
settings and then connectivity or even in the menu there
may
be connectivity. Sorry cannot give more detail as I do not
know that model of phone.

I have an E66. is there a way to not have to type a
passkey
or shared key everytime I connect to a Wifi (WLN) site
like
on my netbook? Usually on the Netbook when you type in the
passkey you don't have to do it again for that connection.
