Hi Eleanor,

The £100 is a combination of £50 for the transfer, and £50 for the upgrade as 
the old v3.x will not work, or hardly work at all on this phone.

If only I'd remembered about Vodafone offering Talks for free + upgrade, but 
then it may have messed up my the rebates I'm getting on the line rental for 
the line I'm getting.  

I'll see what I can do, but thanks again for the tip.

Interesting Hussein while I do indeed sympathise with you on this, I am 
interested in you quoting the figure of one hundred pounds sterling as I was 
not aware of Talks at that price.  While you may look to someone to meet the 
cost, I do not suppose you would be interested in Vodafone putting Talks on for 
you and then upgrading by fifty pounds.
