OK, I've managed to get a 30 day demo running on the 5800 with fair success. For some reason Talks isn't reading all the icons on the main screen. For example, talks isn't reading either the left soft or right soft keys. The short cuts along the top aren't being read either except the radio icon. I've tried all the themes I have such as General, short cut bar, and contacts bar. None seem to make a difference. Now, my main issue again, is that my screen and keyboard get locked up and I have to do a reset to get it unlocked. I think I figured out how it is happening but still can't figure out how to unlock without a reset. I think I am pressing the power key twice when trying to turn off the phone which is locking the screen and keyboard. I am then getting the message to press the lock switch to unlock. The problem is that the lock switch on the side doesn't do anything. Any help with these issues would be very appreciated.

So if you got it to install, then you are perhaps using a very old copy? A date of 2006 doesn't sound correct for the 5800 express music as a default date after a format. are you sure it is 2008 or 2009? That would be more believeable. So even then, what version of Talks are you putting on the 5800 express music? This could be part of the issue of why you are having issues. You should be using a Talks version that has the following file name. talks_501_1_signed.sisx If you are not using that, then please go and download Talks 5.01.1 from Talknav or the blind sea web site. No amount of bandwidth can fix poor design. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Blind Treasures " <blindtreasu...@comcast.net> To: "'Talks Mailing List'" <talks@talksusers.com> Sent: Sunday, November 07, 2010 6:55 AM Subject: Re: [Talks] Help with installing talks on 5800 Xpress > Stephen, Well I did manage to install Talks on my own.
