No the association only appears to work in Y Browser. However as Y Browser appears superior to file manager anyway this may not be too great a problem. I have now moved y browser to my root folder so that it is an easy to use application and will use this in future rather than file manager. I found that although my version of Y browser does not appear to be able to pick up email attachments in the mail folder it is relatively simple to save text attachments in emails to a location where they can be opened in Y browser. You should be able to achieve something similar with opening files with Quick Office in the Y Browser file manager.

I can bring up File Manager very quickly with a Voice Command. I want QuickWord to load text files, and the File Manager in that program is not accessible.
