OSM carto does currently ignore disused=yes. Are you telling me that it is guaranteed, by the core developers, that it always will ignore disused=yes (or, at most, render slightly differently)? If OSM carto core developers can give that guarantee then we can amend the wiki accordingly, describing when it is appropriate to use disused;key=value and when to add disused=yes and what the effects of those two approaches will be on standard carto. If we have that guarantee, and document it, there's a chance other cartos will adopt the same approach. Otherwise all we can do is document that it works that way on standard carto today, but there is no guarantee that it will work in the future. -- Paul
