I agree that a basic definition of a key/value should be in OSM. But some want 
more information, and wikipedia is one place they seek that information from.

An example of what I have;

tag: produce=timber description: Trees harvested for*timber 
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timber>*, called 'lumber' in north America. 
Further processing results in sawn wood, wood chips, paper.

only timber has a wikipedia link here .. and that link is redirected by 
wikipedia to lumber ...

 I do not want to define timber here.. it is the harvesting of the trees and 
the direction of the produce that is important here, not the end product.
