"Where traffic_calming is not a pedestrian crossing then highway=traffic_calming is the prefered way of tagging."
The wiki doesn't mention this and most mappers seem not to know that, not even in the UK. The vast majority of traffic calmings is NOT tagged highway=traffic_calming. What am I getting wrong here? Did someone remove the preferred way of tagging from the wiki and nobody noticed it for years?
