regarding the human readable values: Some mappers add diverse tags like this to the node:
bicycle=official foot=official highway=path traffic_sign=DE:240 https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/3452379412 [http://www.openstreetmap.org/assets/osm_logo_256-835a859acf0d378e1d14e88b15e7b4b95211ccd41a2c061b1629cfbbb8deb697.png]<https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/3452379412> OpenStreetMap OpenStreetMap is a map of the world, created by people like you and free to use under an open license. Except buses (and taxis) is often used in the UK, "sauf riverains" is common in France and both indicate an access restriction, not a one way. in Belgium that's a round white plate with a red border. In the case of "except ...", you know there can be traffic from the other direction. For the red plate with the white line, it excludes all traffic in that direction. Although, typically bicycles and moped of cat A (< 25 km/h) are allowed via an exception sign. regards m
