I understand that this is the convention for OSM. But I fully agree that it makes it difficult to find something in China if you are not familiar with Chinese. Sure, although quite a number of these names might only origin from "local knowledge", peferably of native speakers. So the chinese name for Praha should rather come from a Chinese.
