I am working on a project that will eventually result in import of
various drinking water sources into osm. To prepare I am sorting out
tags, and am writing to solicit feedback:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/Drinking_water_attributes
Many drinking fountains will only have the tag amenity=drinking_water,
but the goal is to allow deeper dating mining where local enthusiasm exists.
Would you comment on the tagging proposal to help refine it?
