IMHO tagging names on the single ways is even more vulnerable to
breakage and bad data

I know that relations aren't currently well supported (but they are
better supported than they were, say, one year ago), and I know that
right now it is better to duplicate the informations, but I hope that
in the future editors will have better support for relations, and
editing a relation won't be an "advanced user" feature as it is right
now.
