Emergency phones would be handy, since it's increasingly common in the US 
for public pay telephones to disallow legally mandated free calls (511 
(official highway information), 711 (deaf relay), 911 (emergency 
services) and all numbers in the 800, 877 and 888 area codes ("toll free" 
numbers)), and being able to find a phone that will let you call 911 (or 
only call 911) is a good thing for obvious reasons.
