Hi all, The proposal of http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/snowshed is still underway, there are a couple of 'yes votes'. I think http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:covered%3Dyes is more appropriate. (and it's already different than tunnel=yes)
Please add your vote & reasons would help to make this tag definition page more clear. Note: The result of a page change should NOT mean that the information on the page should be removed. But simply a 'abanded' status & a link to the better tag. (so others can read the reasons WHY). P.S. I also think that OpenStreetMap should embrace the noble snow shed, (covered=yes alternate) as we would welcome a St. Bernard with a cask of brandy at our chalet during a snowfall.
