The problem is that the people able to upload there are not always able to build a new version every time it is appropriate. It requires a significant investment of time to build all the dependencies for SWORD on Windows and there are only one or two people who are able to do that and upload to that directory. Xiphos for Windows has, AFAIK, always shipped with the SWORD utilities in order to also get another distribution of them into the wild and not always force the same one or two people to be relied upon to update that page. --Greg > > Isn't that what should be developer supposed to download instead of pushing > everything into Xiphos, which IMHO is supposed to be just for normal people > (who are so unlike to us :))? > > Blessings, > > Matěj > > > _______________________________________________ > sword-devel mailing list: sword-devel@crosswire.org > http://www.crosswire.org/mailman/listinfo/sword-devel > Instructions to unsubscribe/change your settings at above page _______________________________________________ sword-devel mailing list: sword-devel@crosswire.org http://www.crosswire.org/mailman/listinfo/sword-devel Instructions to unsubscribe/change your settings at above page
