For Example, in the English Bible, there are NIV, King James, RASB, etc. Those are the name of the translation.

I have CD with biblical text. This texts can be found in internet so it's free.

This CD is a program CD named BibleQuote. It's windows based interface

which allow you search, compare, make notes and etc. with texts in simple html.

Before I hear sothing about the sword I had wrote perl-scripts which allows me use

web-interface for those texts. So I have parts of code to read and convert this

texts. Copyrights important for me and I think it's better write a letter to author

of the program. He have some modules with permission use it only with BibleQuote.

Other I think is free to use.

 

There are many texts but for me really needed not so much.

I am not the one who make the Russian module but I have a lot of interest to working on Russian web based Bible. Do you have some different tranlation version? What is the version? Are you the copyright owner who can grant me permission to put those on the web?

 

I wrote a chinese Bible tool on http://people.netscape.com/ftang/BIBLE  in 1996 (yea, I am using that as the test case to test Netscape 2.0 when I the intl developer working on Netscape 2.0's Chinese support with form and frame)
