Thanks for all the great help. CVS now compiles for me again on both windows and linux. Please let me know if you have any troubles getting it compiled on any other os.
NOW. We'll need to do some serious testing. I ran tests/mgrtest and got Bible text out, so I'm pretty happy about that. :)
We also need to do an optimization pass again, since it's been a while. I'll try to get to that soon, but it would be nice to see some time numbers on the examples/cmdline/search tool before and after these SWBuf modifications. I'm hoping they're nearly the same. We can optimize the memory allocation in SWBuf to improve it if we need to.
