Aside from the reason Troy gave, doing the KJV helps us replace the current KJV and provide the resultant text to others as a public domain text free of restrictions. And the RSV is inappropriate for the project because it is copyrighted and we would have neither the right to add Strongs numbers nor distribute the result under its license. --Chris
