It calls the file just fine. MS's problem lies in passing parameters to an external program. No, I'm not using JNI, just plain ol' Runtime::execNot having looked at the source, I suppose you are using JNI to load files locally? Apparently, there is some problem that lies on the MS side of things?

If you're running windows, you'll need to add these executables to the ModEdit directory: http://www.crosswire.org/~scribe/modedit.exe http://www.crosswire.org/~scribe/swicu20.dll:) Actually, the windows standalone version is kindof unstable right now (surprise! Thanks MS-- and SUN for not working around them in Java). You'll need to edit ModEdit.properties and set localKJV=false until I get that fixed. Everything else can be local, but this has troubles that I hope to remedy soon.
