Shalom to everyone :o) I have been reading the things people wrote about "Doctrinal Statements", What people feel about it, and some comment from non-Christian. I have a question… What is the purpose in doctrinal statements??? Don't we know what believing in Christ is all about? I understand that we see something's differently, but why??? We can't change one another, that is the work of the Holy Spirit, if we let him do so and if we do our share. All we can do is to be faithful to our Lord and letting the Holy Spirit touch others through us, and not being self centered people. Why is a person, and a believer a specially, feels the need to explain himself or his way of thinking to others such eagerly? Is he trying to convince himself by convincing others??? I believe that a believer that is TRULY guided by the Spirit owes no explanation to anyone!
The Sword is supposed to be a learning tool, so I guess that anyone that has It would use it in a way that he/she feels right about it. Being a Jew that believes in Jesus/Yeshua I don't think that the Sword should Have the Quran module. The Sword is a tool for those who believe in Jesus and follow him. It could be a tool for non-Christian so they may come to know Christ. So, we can add modules of Prophecies and matters alike. Those of you that don't believe in Jesus, you may use the Sword for the OT, but You should find another software for anything beyond. As for our self, Christians, don't you see how the devil tries to ruin what we do? The Sword can (and it is) be a blessing to many, so why let the devil take it to other places? As for debating, it just doesn't fit to how we supposed to be. I call you all, please leave those issues alone, and let us focus in the good things that edify us and the things that will make us closer on to another instead of letting Satan put a Sword between us! |
