Some day it would be nice if people talked to me directly instead of sniping from the sidelines. The root issue here is that "make LINT" is poorly implemented, so under some circumstances (including the tinderbox and, if I read the code correctly, 'make universe'), the LINT64 config is never generated. Oh, and 'make tinderbox' should die.
