Yes, I am aware of the port existence. My point was
to leave just one, BSD licensed, full featured emu10k
driver in the base (i.e. merge emu10k1 and
emu10kx into one). Good to know that you're up to
this; I hope we'll get there eventually. :-)
Well, when I made the changes for emu10k1 it was easy
to do them for emu10kx too but I don't have the card so I
am not really up to it (sorry).
I will be glad to help if someone else is interested.
I have Audigy2ZS (model SB0350) in my table if any help with testing
needed, but I've never looked into emu10k code, preferring to hack more
widespread and documented HDA.
