Hi all, Because the changes in r190919 did contain some nice fixes, but some of them were unneeded or should not attempted to be fixed here, I've decided to prepare a commit to revert the changes made in r190919, except the improvements Christoph made to the inline assembly.

After this patch is applied, only the following things have changed:
- The inline functions in cpufunc.h will use the N modified to figure
out how to call the instruction.
- The code in machdep.c will call _inb()/_outb() instead of rolling its
own version.
This fixes the issue John is seeing.
I'm currently busy testing the patch. Any comments?
