AES Fall Convention is July 17th. We also have an Express Paper category,
which requires only an extended abstract by August 1.

Topics

Proposals describing work in any area of audio engineering and its related
arts and sciences will be considered for inclusion in convention sessions.
A detailed list of proposed topics is given below. Please also take the
time to review the AES Convention and Conference Author Guidelines

Categories

Authors may submit proposals in two categories:

   1. Complete-manuscript peer-reviewed convention papers
   2. Extended-summary-reviewed Express Papers


Submitting a Proposal

Proposals are to be submitted electronically:

Category 1 by July 17, 2022

Category 2 by August 1, 2022

For the complete-manuscript peer-reviewed convention papers (Category 1),
authors are asked to submit papers of 4–10 pages to the submission
site by *July
17, 2022*. These complete-manuscript papers will be reviewed by at least
two experts in the field, and authors will be notified of acceptance by *August
31, 2022*. Final manuscript with revisions requested by the reviewers have
to be submitted before *September 23, 2022*. If rejected as a convention
paper (Category 1), the proposal may still be submitted for Category 2.

For extended-summary-reviewed proposals (Category 2), a title and 300-750
word summary of the proposed paper must be submitted by *August 1, 2022*.
Authors will be notified of acceptance by *August 31, 2022*, and the
authors must submit their final manuscripts (4 to 8 pages) before *September
23, 2022*.
