Hi Marc,
Thanks for getting back to me. The original IMAX 6.0 configuration consists
of LCR across the middle of the screen Centre Top at the top of the screen
above the Centre speaker and L and R point source surrounds ( not an
array ). The Sub channel ( in simple terms) is a monitored Sub not a
physical track or channel. The Sub information of all 6 main channels is
routed through the Sub Array behind the screen. This configuration stays
intact and what has been added to create the 12.0 is a speaker on the Left
Wall and one on the Right Wall between the Surround speakers and screen L
and R. As well a a pair of Ceiling speakers in front closer to the screen
and a pair of Ceiling speakers closer to the back wall. I've attached a
diagram that might help. ( The Pink being LCR L/R Walls and L/R Rears and
the Blue being Centre Top, and the Ceiling pairs.)

I'm recording location for an upcoming IMAX film recording with a
Tetramic and spot mics at various rainforest type locations. I was
wondering if someone could recommend the best software that will
configure these tracks into the new IMAX 12.0 speaker arrangement. My
DAW of choice is Nuendo 7.
What are the specifications of the new IMAX 12.0 speaker arrangement?
