It's about time!

I made my little effort last year, with an experiment on
http://ambisonic.xyz, but I did not updated it since. It gives me hope
that ambisonics could become the "de facto" standard for 360 videos, or
at least a viable and supported option. This a serious opportunity to
promote ambisonics, and the sursound community should help to define
the RFC.
