Some complimentary info I received from the Ozo Service team: "
*Using the Creator application, we support the export of audio captured through the camera's microphones as -4.0 with a loudspeaker layout of 45, -45, 135, -135 degrees OR5.0 with a loudspeaker layout of 30, -30, 0, 110, -110 degrees OR7.0 with a loudspeaker layout of 30, 0, -30, 90, -90, 150, -150 degrees OR8.0 with a loudspeaker layout of 0, -45, -90, -135, 180, 135, 90, 45.It should be noted that in those angles positive angles are on the left (which is mathematically correct way to present them). Commonly in audio it is vice versa (i.e., positive angle on the right), so you may select yourselves which way you want to present those angles. In the future, we will support arbitrary loudspeaker layouts (including elevated loudspeakers), but at the moment only those are possible.*" Jean-Pascal Beaudoin | Headspace Studio Co-founder / Head of Sound +1 514-746-8461 2015-12-05 14:20 GMT-05:00 David Pickett <d...@fugato.com>: > At 19:27 05-12-15, Stefan Schreiber wrote: > > I have experimented with playing back three channel Mercury recording of >> Stravinsky's Firebird (LSO/Dorati) from SACD using three front loudpeakers >> and also played stereo using three loudspeakers, matrixing level and phase >> of the original channels as indicated in two of the Gerzon papers (I forget >> which for the moment). >> >> This is a classical spaced omni recording, I would imagine. >> > > The Mercury recording was done with three spaced omnis.
