I just now updated SeaMonkey in Windows 7 from 2.49.2 using the
seamonkey-2.49.3-2.49.4.partial.mar file. I normally have "Advertise
Firefox compatibility" disabled.
When I first launched SeaMonkey 2.49.4, the UA string was
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/52.0
I enabled "Advertise Firefox compatibility" and then disabled it. I now
get the correct (for me)
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101
SeaMonkey/2.49.4
This correction persists when I terminate and then relaunch SeaMonkey.
I have posted this comment to warn others who also have "Advertise
Firefox compatibility" disabled.
