Having a desktop and not a laptop, having no touch-screen, not wanting my usage history sent back to Microsoft, and using old software that has no new versions but will not work with Windows 10, I choose to stay with Windows 7. My wife's PC does not even have the hardware capacity for Windows 7. She still uses Windows XP. That is helpful because our Canon scanner is still in excellent condition and is installed on her PC because I cannot find drivers for it to work with later versions of Windows. -- David E.
