As of yesterday, this should not happen on any branch anymore, as I have ported my update-server-fix from the release branch to all the other branches. So please check if this behavior still really happens, as this would be unexpected. The Update NoOp saw was just yet another unofficial "nightly" from the "release" branch - as they don't change version numbers (to e.g. 2.46.1) as long as the official version number in that branch was not changed.
