So you've said, but as I posted in the earlier thread I don't have that
problem in 2.39. There must be something peculiar about your setup,
settings, profile, or something on the computer that doesn't allow you
to edit it.
One thing you might try -- and I'm sure it's already been suggested --
is to restart SM in Safe Mode with all add-ons disabled, and see if the
problem persists. If it goes away, enable one add-on at a time until it
reappears and you'll have the culprit.
If that doesn't help, create a fresh profile and gradually add things
back until the problem recurs (of course, you're hoping it never does).
If you can recreate the whole profile without the problem, and import
all your old messages, etc., then delete the old corrupt profile and
move on with your life.
