Thank you for your help,

Danny

Danny, this re-ordering of mail accounts can be done without the use of an extension.

Enter about:config in a browser address line, read the warning and, if you want to continue, do so.

Enter mail.account in the filter line and you might get ten or a dozen lines displayed. One will be mail.accountmanager.accounts and it will show the order in which the accounts are currently displayed. Mine says account1,account2,account4,account6,account7,account8. (I wonder what I did with accounts 3 and 5??)

(In my case, Account1 is Mail, Account2 is Local Folders, Account 4 is this servers account, Account6 is a Usenet Server Account, Account7 is another Usenet Server Account and Account8 is yet another Usenet Server Account.)

To change the order in which your accounts are displayed, simply change the order.
