I've merged the branch, but, I see no difference.  I'm playing with the
reticle texture in the Oculars plugin.

The texture I m using is a PNG created at 2048x2048 pixels. I set the
mip-mapping option when I create the StelTexture.  But no mater what size I
make my window, I believe  simple scaling is going on.  But, I really do
not know how to test this.
