So we have another SABDFL among us. Yes, I understand you. Believe me, I was a LoCo Team leader before, and I had this kind of situation at my hands a couple of times. But by exposing something you consider an error or confusion in that way you'll not be able to build a perennial leadership in this community.
You're our leader, not a angered teacher punishing who had a bad behaviour in class. And leaders, at least some of them, doesn't expose other leaders when those make something wrong; when they do this they weakens all the leadership around. This is not the first time I see you using acidity to expose your grievance or dissatisfaction with something. And while acknowledging that this is something yours, I think you should soften it, leastways when leading other leaders. After all, I'm just saying or explaining the correct way to do such things. We have agreed months from now that creating any new channel no matter what should be under my direct approval :) Thank you! > > João Santana > > Enviado pelo meu Windows Phone > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > De: Ali Linx <mailto:ali.li...@amjjawad.net> > Enviada em: 03/04/2014 16:33 > Para: Caleb Howland <mailto:sonikkuamerica...@live.com>; > startubuntu@lists.launchpad.net <mailto:startubuntu@lists.launchpad.net> > Cc: ubuntugnome-co...@lists.launchpad.net > <mailto:ubuntugnome-co...@lists.launchpad.net>; > lubuntu-co...@lists.launchpad.net > <mailto:lubuntu-co...@lists.launchpad.net> > Assunto: Re: [Ubuntugnome-comms] [Startubuntu] [StartUbuntu] IRC > channel (re-)creation in progress > > > On 04/03/2014 09:18 PM, Caleb Howland wrote: > > Hello StartUbuntu Project members, > > > > Hi, > > > > I am in the process of creating a new IRC channel, as we are > > technically a part of the Ubuntu IRC network.
