The new Starlink app 2023.29.0 was released. This update includes support for the new terminal v4.

I guess this means that the new terminal will be available very soon.

By the way, I made a short visualization of the new device. This is how it looks in 3D:

Probably. But we need to test it first. The power consumption is higher, and this is not super good...
Also, we need to figure out what's going on the PoE side.

Oleg, do you consider this a better product for your use case?

This has been so common here in Ukraine for almost a year:

    No known issues.

There are also a lot of videos out of people doing flat

It's not surprising that they would do away with the
motors. Satellite density has now increased in most
places to a level where there is sufficient capacity in
sight no matter which way Dishy points. At least where we
are at 37S, you can try this out at home even with the
older ones - power up, let Dishy orientate itself, and
then rotate it away from its self-adjusted direction.
It's not going to re-orientate. That said, pointing Dishy
at where you'd expect most capacity to sit would still
            give you better performance.

shared on X earlier by Tesla investor, Sawyer Merritt.

Compared to its predecessor, the Standard Actuated
terminal — which was also designed for everyday uses
like gaming, video calls, and streaming — the new

slimmer, more portable design, higher waterproof and
wind resistance rating as well as an increased field
                of view, and no motor.

In addition to the terminal, kickstand, and cables,
the kit includes a Gen 3 router with Wi-Fi 6 support.
Based on the quick start guide

also shared by Merritt, the set-up process looks
                pretty easy."
