Did you install STAF for Linux AMD64? You can check this by running the
following MISC LIST PROPERTIES request and it should show platform
"linux-amd64" and architecture "64-bit".

# STAF local MISC LIST PROPERTIES
Response
--------
version : 3.4.17
platform : linux-amd64
architecture: 64-bit
installer : IA
file : STAF3417-setup-linux-amd64.bin
osname : Linux
osversion : *
osarch : amd64

Did you see the notes in section "2.4 Linux (AMD64, aka x86-64)" in the
STAF Perl User's Guide at
http://staf.sourceforge.net/current/STAFPerl.htm#Header_LinuxAMD64 and try
them (especially note #3)?

Are you using the STAF Perl libraries provided with STAF for Linux AMD64?
Or did you build STAF core and STAF Perl support yourself as talked about
in the STAF Developer's Guide at
http://staf.sourceforge.net/current/stafdg.html ?

Yes,
root@64-CentOS ~/.virtualenvs/asmtest #uname -a
Linux 64-CentOS 2.6.32-431.17.1.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed May 7 23:32:49 UTC
2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Attempted to use the libPLSTAF.so for perl 5.10.x. Anyone see this?

root@64-CentOS ~/.virtualenvs/asmtest/longevity #perl: symbol lookup
error: /root/.virtualenvs/asmtest/staf/lib/libPLSTAF.so: undefined symbol:

Are you sure there is there a 64-bit issue? I've been using PLSTAF on
64-bit Linux platforms for several months with no problems. There are both
64-bit and 32-bit packages on the download page for Linux.
