-outputFormat text
Are you saying that the value of the STAF/Env/USER variable isn't this?

Just upgraded to 3.4.14 from a very old version (3.4.1) on windows 7.
I don't understand the output I'm getting for this command:
staf local var resolve string {STAF/Env/USER}
