Hi, I have a virtualized Fedora 18 guest and I have STAF 3.4.12 installed on the guest. I'm able to ping other machines from within the guest but other machines are not able to ping the guest.
It has a bridged networking interface - so it's IP is seperate from that of the host. The firewall is turned off on both the host and the guest. I'm at a loss as to why I'm not able to ping the guest. I checked with tcpdump and the guest is not seeing the ping packet at all even though the host is. Could I get any help with this? The error message is the standard error message RC 16.
