Hi Max,

We do not provide a .rpm file for STAF. We have an automated build system
that provides STAF installation files for Linux in two other forms (using
InstallAnywhere which can be used on all the platforms supported by STAF,
not just Linux, and a tar.gz file used in conjunction with the STAFInst
installation program). We don't have plans to provide a .rpm file for
installing STAF on Linux in the near future, although some people have
inquired about this. You can open a new Feature Request for this via
http://staf.sourceforge.net (in the navigation column on the left under
Feedback, Request New Feature). Also, we encourage contributions to the
STAF project so if you wanted to provide a patch that provides a spec file
for building STAF rpm for Linux for i386 and x86_64, we welcome that.
Instructions for contributing a patch to the STAF project are provided via
http://staf.sourceforge.net (in the navigation column on the left under
Development, Contributing to STAF).

Hi,

do you provide STAF rpm file for installation on RHEL6?
If not, are you planning to provide the rpm file for STAF in the near
future?
If not, can I help somehow and create a spec file for building STAF rpm
for the community?

TIA,
MaxB
