I'm not sure why the JVMLog.1 file has the unreadable characters. What is the output of "java -version"?
Note that for a 64-bit JVM, the "java -version" output will include "64 bit JVM" or "ppc64-64" to indicate it is a 64-bit JVM. For example: > java -version java version "1.4.2" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2) Classic VM (build 1.4.2, J2RE 1.4.2 IBM AIX 5L for PowerPC (64 bit JVM) build caix64142ifx-20100215 (SR13 FP4) (JIT enabled: jitc)) > STAFProc & [1] 7391 $ Machine : ASxxxx.RTP.RALEIGH.IBM.COM Machine nickname : ASxxxx.RTP.RALEIGH.IBM.COM Startup time : 20100721-09:31:52 STAFProc version 3.4.1 initialized > STAF local SERVICE ADD SERVICE event LIBRARY JSTAF EXECUTE /home/BDAVID/STAFEvent.jar Response -------- $ You could try using this 64-bit JVM with STAF 64-bit, or reinstall STAF 32-bit if you are using a 32-bit JVM. (See attached file: JVMLog.1) Any Ideas? Should I re-install the 32 bit version?[attachment "JVMLog.1" deleted by David Bender/Austin/IBM] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Sprint What will you do first with EVO, the first 4G phone?
