Hi David,

Commenting out that test and the following one that were both failing, there are only two other tests that failed. These were in the test private data section towards the end:

ERROR: removePrivacyDelimiters(!...@msg: ^...@pw: ^...@pw^^@!...@!!, 0) != Msg: !...@pw: ^...@pw^@!...@!!

If these are all known errors then I will submit the 2.5 build of PYSTAF.so. Thanks.

Kind regards,
Cynthia

Hi Cynthia,

You can ignore that error. It is an issue with the test program (we also get this error on other Unix platforms).

Thanks,
David

Re: [staf-users] Errors building STAF Python on Mac OS X

Hi David,

I was indeed able to build the PYSTAF.so file. However, when I ran the
src/staf/lang/python/TestPython.py script, it did not complete with
this error:

Testing unmarshalling using IGNORE_INDIRECT_OBJECTS flag and

marshalled data returned by a PROCESS START request

I don't forsee us needing the IGNORE_INDIRECT_OBJECTS flag for
unmarshall, but I'd feel better about contributing my 2.5 version of
PYSTAF.so build if the TestPython.py script were to pass completely.

What are your thoughts on this?

Kind regards,
Cynthia
