In STAF 3.3.4 the environment variables for building STAF were changed. You need to set the following:
PYTHON_BULD_V23=0 PYTHON_BULD_V25=1 PYTHON_V25_ROOT=/System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.5 PYTHON_V25_INCLUDEDIRS=$(PYTHON_V25_ROOT)/include/python2.5 PYTHON_V25_LIBDIRS=$(PYTHON_V25_ROOT)/lib/python2.5 PYTHON_V25_LIBS=python2.5 I'll open a bug to update the STAF Developer's Guide with this information.
