I'll preface by saying "not going to fix at this point" is a reasonable reply.
I don't (personally) like the "alternate separator" change, since (as far as I
can tell) there's a defined way of handling this, rather than adding a new
standard. I can use the `json_get_field()` function to get the data. The
transformation is preferable to me because IMO the result is cleaner syntax
(It's variable assignment: `$variable = value`).
As a side note, I'll have to test, but I think that a similar issue exists in
the jansson module's `jansson_get(path, src, dst)` function, though. I should
have time to verify this in a day or two and open a bug report for that if I'm
correct.
At the end of the day, the ability to drop to a KEMI function should be
workable.
