Hi PIM, SPRING I've read the latest version and support WGLC. I find the content in the document a clear read for the solution and it’s nice to see this solution documents getting to a polished state. The underlying replication segment RFC from SPRING was a good milestone, and PCE+IDR is actively developing the solution implementation details required to achieve what’s described in draft-ietf-pim-sr-p2mp-policy.
Authors, minor nits: Section 2: -> remove plural “s” -> /Root node of a P2MP trees/Root node of a P2MP tree/ -> /Tree-ID: A identifier/Tree-ID: An identifier/ -> should "path" and "paths" be capitalized when in context of "Candidate path" ?. Related, some text has "candidate path" and others has "Candidate path". Section 4.1: -> /in a using a Path/in a Path/ Section 4.1.1 -> Bullet 3. Create candidate path should likely include the same arguments as update (Preference, Constraints, Optimization, ...) -> /CP-ID is identifier/CP-ID is the identifier/ Section 4.2.3 -> /Polciy/Policy/ Thanks Andrew From: spring <spring-boun...@ietf.org> on behalf of Michael McBride <michael.mcbr...@futurewei.com> Date: Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 10:37 PM To: p...@ietf.org <p...@ietf.org> Cc: spring@ietf.org <spring@ietf.org> Subject: [spring] wglc: draft-ietf-pim-sr-p2mp-policy Hello good people, Today begins a two week wglc for https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/draft-ietf-pim-sr-p2mp-policy-08. The related (normative) replication segment draft has now been published as a standards track RFC. The poll in the Brisbane pim room was 3 in favor and 0 against. Please respond with your opinions on the advancement of this draft. Thanks, mike
