Hey Dallas - don't think that helps - I'm not raising this issue for servers
I control - it's the other ones I'm worried about - any client of mine, who
HAPPENS to access services remotely is falsely scored (or at least
unfairly) - and I can't expect server admins everywhere to alter their
config to fix this... and it's not just my problem - everyone is effected
with misleading 2.5 scores for non-directly received messages being classed
as directly.

Appreciate the thought though - really think it's a bug. Would like to know
if it effects (or shows score) on those I might send to though -
particularly those running 2.61 with other MTA's (not courier) to help
determine if it is truly a global problem.

Thanks.

its all in how you configure it... see

[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# man Mail::SpamAssassin::Conf | grep num_
       num_check_received { integer } (default: 9)
