Which is followed by:
This option is deprecated in version 2.60 and later.  It will be
removed in a future version.  Please use the "trusted_networks"
option instead (it is a much better way to control DNSBL-checking
behaviour).

So don't use num_check_received (if you're running 2.60+).  Whether
trusted_networks is necessary depends partly on whether the mail server
running SpamAssassin is using a private or global IP address.  SpamAssassin
performs intelligent checks of the headers and when properly configured will
not result in the false-positive originally mentioned.
